EVENING OF WELCOMING AND ENGAGEMENT
Dear NAACP Member,
The New Bedford Branch NAACP is proud and pleased to have so many dedicated members supporting us. Many of you have attended meetings, participated in our events, or have engaged actively with the day-to-day work that we do. However, many of you may wish to be more actively engaged with our work but have not found the right opportunity or may not have known how to become involved in our efforts.
On Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m., the New Bedford Branch will host an Evening of Welcoming and Engagement at our NAACP Building at 95 Cedar Street in New Bedford. The purpose of this event will be to share with you the work we are currently engaged in and to show how you might connect with us and become actively involved in our work.
The Evening will be fairly loose and informal with refreshments and beverages provided. During this event, we will be presenting Silver Life Membership plaques issued by the National Office of NAACP to several members who have attained Silver Life Membership status. Additionally, we will have some
NAACP merch we will be distributing, and we will be raffling off two one-year free memberships.
