A fun, informative and interactive program for 12-14 year old girls from around New Bedford. Lunch, snacks and giveaways will be provided. Confidence-Building workshops, dance instruction, STEAM challenges and so much more. The Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Norfolk-Plymouth County Area Alumnae Chapter invite you to join our Physical and Mental Health Committee as they discuss; “Living with Lupus and Finding Support”. Lupus is a disease that affects predominately women of color at higher rates than any other race. It’s also a disease that doesn’t get the attention of other significant diseases but is silently claiming just as many lives.
